My Deer Fly sculpture came about during fawn season, when I noticed a little wobbly baby deer with it's mom out in the field by my home. I immediately thought, their knobby legs and floppy ears and tail would be the perfect subject for another twiggy miniature and boy, this one does not disappoint! This little guy is loaded with beautiful natural details from the samara wings, to the knotty twig legs. Cast by me, in solid bronze and hand finished, with my XF maker's mark stamped underneath the chin.
He's a wee fellow! Dimensions are approximately: 2 inches tall x 1.5 wide (back legs)
