The White Whale Ring

This solid sterling silver whale ring is modeled after the infamous "White Whale" from the Herman Melville novel, Moby Dick. I tried to capture all the subtle details described in the novel, from his hooked lower jaw to his streaked, scarred body. The entire ring is made up of the whale's body itself, so the detail goes all the way around the band. The inside of the band is hallmarked both 925 as well as my XF maker's mark. Since this ring is open, is it slightly adjustable.
*This ring is available in limited sizes because the body of the whale can only be altered a small amount without compromising the design.

This ring is dramatic and comfortable. There's an incredible amount of detail in the whale's jaw, eye, and flukes, and the whole body is proportioned beautifully. I've found that the gap between the head and tale prevents the ring from getting tight if my fingers swell a bit throughout the day. I can type 10 hours comfortably while wearing it. Such a treat if you loved the novel (or love whales).
